Antoine TAVA’s Drippy Universe Expands

In continuation of the April 2021 launch of Midnight Drip, featuring 39, limited-edition B&W silkscreen prints, the Midnight Drip Exhibition welcomes you again into the pop graphic flavourings of Antoine TAVA. 

Brought-to-life with an all new pastel palette, think the same cartoon classics and cult icon hits, all of course plunged in TAVA's signature ‘dripping’ effect, but BIGGER... BOLDER... and BRIGHTER. 

The newest line-up of 11, limited edition giclée colour prints will be on display in accompaniment to the remaining B&W works reserved from the original Midnight Drip Collection. 

Inspiration Behind the Midnight Drip Collection

The idea behind the Midnight Drips collection is that there are always two sides to every story told. Through this collection, Antoine Tava reveals a part of his alter ego. On one side, you have the glowing moon that represents a deep sense of vulnerability. The moon is a warm-natured and loving symbol, something people relate to and puts them at ease. On the other hand, the lunar eclipse represents our hidden truths waiting to be uncovered and reveal themselves to the light of day.

Dans la continuité de Midnight Drip, lancé en avril 2021, avec 39 sérigraphies noir et blanc en édition limitée, l'exposition Midnight Drip vous invite à découvrir les saveurs graphiques pop d'Antoine TAVA. 

Avec une toute nouvelle palette de couleurs pastel, pensez aux mêmes classiques de cartoons et aux icônes de culte, tous plongés dans l'effet " coulant " caractéristique de TAVA, mais en plus GRAND... plus VIF... et plus ÉCLATANT. 

La toute nouvelle série de 11 tirages en couleurs à édition limitée, sera exposée en accompagnement des œuvres en noir et blanc réservées de la collection originale Midnight Drip. 

L'Inspiration de la Collection Midnight Drip

L'idée derrière la collection Midnight Drip est qu'il y a toujours deux côtés à chaque histoire racontée. À travers cette collection, Antoine Tava révèle une partie de son alter ego. D'un côté, vous avez la lune rougeoyante qui représente un profond sentiment de vulnérabilité. La lune est un symbole affectueux et amical, auquel les gens s'identifient et qui les met à l'aise. D'autre part, l'éclipse lunaire représente nos vérités cachées qui attendent d'être découvertes et de se révéler à la lumière du jour.
